Abstract | Explores the impact of budget changes on the intensity of program services received by students in federal compensatory education programs under Chapter 1 of the Education Consolidation and Improvement Act (1981). Results show that moderate budget cuts translated into service intensity declines, implying that Gramm-Rudman impacts could be worse. Includes 2 figures, 5 tables, and 14 references. (MLH) |
